Conegliano advance to seventh-straight Scudetto Finals

Swedish opposite Isabelle Haak led Conegliano offensively with a team-high 20 points, produced with 17 kills, two blocks and one ace. Outside hitters Zhu Ting and Gabriela ‘Gabi’ Guimarães were also important, contributing 17 and 16 points respectively, as well as Olympic champion middle blocker Sarah Fahr, who registered 14 and earned the match’s MVP award.

“It was a great match,” middle blocker Cristina Chirichella said. “They created many difficulties for us in some moments, but we managed to keep our level high and win the series. We certainly expected those kinds of challenges in the series, and I’m glad we managed to overcome them.”
